NEW REVIEW: Dirty Money by Jessica Clare

Thursday, January 19, 2017
Southern Texas heats up when four roughneck billionaires set their sights on love in the new series from New York Times bestselling author Jessica Clare.
Boone Price and his brothers know oil; at least, the dirty, backbreaking side of working an oil rig. But when their scrubby, worthless hunting land turns out to be sitting on top of one of the biggest oil wells in North America, they go from the rig to the boardroom and end up billionaires practically overnight.
Now with enough money to do whatever he wants, Boone is developing a taste for fine things. And the finest thing he's ever seen is Ivy Smithfield, local realtor. Boone's determined to buy her affection and show the world that he's more than just a dirty fool with a bit of money. Ivy's classy and beautiful - she'll make the perfect trophy wife. The fact that she's sexy and funny is just a bonus.
There's one tiny problem - Ivy's as dirt poor as Boone is. Her carefully crafted veneer of luxury? All an act to promote her business. What's Boone going to do when he finds out the woman he's falling for is, well, in his league?

"Put those pretty feet over my shoulders, Ivy, and I'll lick you until you scream."

So who needs me to tell them how much I enjoyed this book? I mean the quote speaks for itself, doesn't it? This book was highly entertaining, it had humour, an alpha male with a soft heart, a very likable heroine and some really hot smut scenes. I mean what more could a girl ask for? Especially one like me. I read roughneck billionaires and I one-clicked.

Boone Price is what they call new money, once just a lowly worker on the oil rigs, he's become a billionaire overnight and could have anything or anyone he wants. And he knows it. But that's not how the Price Brothers work, all five brothers still live in the same trailers they bought way before they got rich. When Boone first sees, Ivy on an ad for a realtor, he decides that not only does he need a woman like Ivy, but he specifically needs Ivy. And so begins the gentle wooing of the woman Boone knows he's going to marry. Just joking lol

So Boone comes at Ivy the only way he knows how, by making her see things his way. It was hot and adorable all at once. Ivy also had a few of her own secrets. Big secrets. But she's surprised to feel attraction when the big, dirty, bearded guy starts flirting with her. There's just something about Boone.

"I may be a crazy redneck, but I ain't that crazy."

I really didn't want this book to end, I mean Boone and Ivy had a tough time growing up and getting to where they were but the author wrote it such a lighthearted way that it was stress free for me. So if you're looking for a light, fluffly and sexy read then I'd definitely recommend this book!
